In the latter half of this fiscal year, through a relationship with the Institute of Gerontology (IOG) of the University of Tokyo, we started a small preliminary experiment using CoMADO in cooperation with the NPO Frail Support Niyodogawa in Niyodogawa Town, Kochi Prefecture, regarding technology to support social participation by the elderly.
We visited Niyodogawa-cho in November last month to report on our field survey and future plans, etc. We will give a lecture with Prof. Michitaka Hirose, Professor Emeritus of the University of Tokyo, at the IOG's Gerontology Academy ("Information and Systems: The Second Semester of 2023") seminar on December 25.
